We will keep you up to date on our "Corona" page. Furthermore you can find reliable information on the CDC homepage. Current scientific summaries about Corona vaccines can be found here.

Vaccination against monkeypox

Vaccinations will probably start in August and will be performed by the Gesundheitsamt (department of health) in Wiesbaden. Patients will be prioritized as follows:

1. Close contacts of patients with a proven monkeypox infection.
2. Patients with HIV (first those with helper cells below 350/µl).
3. PreP users and MSM

Patients known to belong to the priority groups have already been informed. If this is not the case, please contact me via corona(at)praxis-dr-lahdo.de. We will transfer your data to the Gesundheitsamt for prioritization. This service is exclusively for patients of our practice.
Individuals who have already had a vaccination against smallpox do not need a vaccination against monkeypox.
